Japchae (Korean Cellophane Noodles)


This was probably the first Korean dish I ever tried in my life. For the longest time, my mom and I searched for the recipe, and it wasn't until I moved into college with my Korean apartment-mate that I finally figured out how to make it. It can be eaten as a panchan (appetizer) or a main course.

  2. Love japchae! My mom makes it occasionally when I'm home, but mostly I only have the just okay versions given as banchan at Korean restaurants. :(
